The hotel's Spa del Sol is crafted from Balinese woods and surrounded by tropical gardens. Guests begin their spa visit in the steam room and spa tub (surcharges for use of both), then enjoy a traditional Balinese scrub in the wet room, complemented by a selection of herbs and exotic spices to smooth, tone, and refresh the skin. Massages are offered in outdoor gazebos overlooking the Caribbean. The facial room offers traditional European and essential-oil treatments, as well as manicures and pedicures. Driving directions from Queen Beatrix International Airport:
- Depart airport to the west on the main road and continue through the downtown area.
- Follow the sign for Low Rise Hotels. The resort is on the left.
Getting there: Taxi fare from the airport to the resort costs US$18–$25.
Getting around: Aruba's roads are well maintained and easily navigated with the aid of a map. Weekdays, public buses stop in front of the resort, with fares into Oranjestad for less than US$5. Taxi fare into the city is US$5–$15. Car rentals are available online.
